About Jenn

Meet the writer behind Party of One — a personal journal of moves between cities, beauty shelves, and big life transitions.

Hi, I'm Jenn.

I'm a twenty-something millennial lifestyle blogger from Georgia who has called the suburbs of Atlanta and a stretch of Florida home before settling into the next city on the map.

Party of One is where I document the in-between moments — the small wins, the tough health chapters, the beauty-shelf rescues, and the goals I set out in writing so I have to answer for them later.

When I'm not writing here, I'm shopping a little too much, catching up with family, and making time for friends who keep me honest.

There is something quietly powerful about documenting the in-between moments of life, the ones that don't make it onto highlight reels but still shape who you become. This space was built on the belief that the small wins deserve just as much celebration as the big milestones, and that the hard chapters are worth writing through rather than skipping past. From navigating chronic health struggles to figuring out how to style an apartment on a budget, every post here is a reminder that you can build a full, vibrant life on your own terms. It is about learning to be your own best company while still showing up for the people who matter most.

Beauty and self-care have always been more than surface-level interests here; they are tools for reclaiming confidence during seasons when everything else feels uncertain. A new skincare routine or a perfectly chosen lip color can be a small act of control when life throws curveballs, whether that means a difficult medical diagnosis or a cross-country move that leaves you starting over. This blog chronicles the trial and error of finding what actually works, not just for your skin but for your mindset. It is about showing up consistently, setting goals that scare you a little, and finding joy in the ordinary moments that make up a life worth living.
